U.S. News & World Report Ranks Solheim Lutheran Home Among "Best Nursing Homes for 2013"

We're very pleased to announce that U.S. News & World Report has recently compiled a listing of the best Nursing Homes in the country, organized by State and Metropolitan Area and Solheim is rated among the best!  The newspaper did not do its own study to determine the "Best Nursing Homes," but instead used the criteria from the Center For Medicare Services website and their  "Star System."    Since Solheim currently possesses a maximum "5 Star" rating in quality measures, we appear on U.S. News & World Report's list of Best Nursing Homes for 2013.

The Next Meeting of Solheim’s Book Club

will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the M&M Room. We will discuss The Run by Ann Patchett.

Since their mother's death, Tip and Teddy Doyle have been raised by their loving, possessive, and ambitious father. As the former mayor of Boston, Bernard Doyle wants to see his sons in politics, a dream the boys have never shared. But when an argument in a blinding New England snowstorm inadvertently causes an accident that involves a stranger and her child, all Bernard cares about is his ability to keep his children—all his children—safe.

 


The book club is for residents, staff and friends of Solheim and meets every six weeks.
